The CIEF Way

Two ways to pay your China supplier. One is clean.

Direct overseas payment apps move your money — but leave you without a Malaysia local invoice. CIEF is a procurement service: we buy on your behalf, so on your books you're simply purchasing from a Malaysian vendor.

How it works

4 simple steps — supplier milestones supported.

Designed for B2B importers who already have their supplier relationship sorted. We slot into your existing import flow.

1

You + Supplier seal the deal

Your PO is set. You know the supplier, the price, the milestones. We don't get in the middle of your sourcing.

2

Submit your PO on Exchange

Enter the full PO amount + supplier bank/Alipay/1688 details. Generate a Proforma Invoice if you need one for your accountant.

3

CIEF settles your supplier

Pay in full, or match your supplier's milestones (e.g., 30% deposit now, 70% balance on shipment). You decide when to submit each one.

4

Receive your LHDN E-Invoice

Auto-issued from CIEF Worldwide Sdn Bhd. LHDN-compliant, ready for your books, auditor, and tax submission.

ℹ️ About milestone payments: This is a payment-scheduling tool that mirrors what your supplier asks for (deposit + balance). You fund each milestone with your own money, when you choose to. CIEF does not offer credit, financing, or buy-now-pay-later services.
vs Other options

Why pure payment apps leave you with a tax problem.

Generic B2B payment apps move money. They don't issue local Malaysian invoices, so your accountant gets stuck.

Why CIEF

We're not a payment app. We're a procurement service.

This distinction matters — legally, operationally, and for your books.

🛒 Procurement, Not Money Transfer

CIEF Worldwide Sdn Bhd is a registered Malaysian supply chain company. We use our own funds to procure goods from China on your behalf — then resell those goods to you locally.

🧾 LHDN E-Invoice, Auto-Issued

Every transaction produces a Malaysia local e-invoice from CIEF. LHDN-compliant, drops straight into your books. No more "explain this China supplier" headaches with your accountant.

📑 Supports Your Supplier's Terms

Your supplier wants 30% deposit now and 70% on shipment? Done. Submit each milestone payment in Exchange when you're ready. No credit involved — you fund each one yourself.

🏛 12 Years China–Malaysia Specialist

Founded 2014. Used by 10,000+ Malaysian SMEs. KL office at Bukit Jalil. We do one thing — China-to-Malaysia trade — and we've been doing it since before LHDN e-invoice was a thing.

Full end-to-end import

Three systems, one seamless China-to-Malaysia workflow.

Exchange handles your supplier payment + Malaysia e-invoice. Izyim covers sea freight. CIEF Lite handles parcel consolidation + 1688 one-click ordering. Designed to work together — money flow + logistics flow + invoicing, all under one Malaysian roof.

💼

Exchange

The payment + invoicing core of your import workflow. Settles your China supplier and issues your Malaysia LHDN e-invoice — designed to integrate with Izyim & CIEF Lite for the full import journey.

🚢

Izyim

Sea freight LCL (Less than Container Load). For when you need to ship goods from China to Malaysia by sea — flexible volume.

✈️

CIEF LITE

Parcel consolidation (air + sea) plus CIEF SOURCE — 1688 one-click ordering via official API. Best for smaller, faster orders.

Frequently asked

Quick answers

How is this different from WorldFirst, Airwallex, PingPong, or XTransfer?

Those are licensed money-services platforms — they handle the money flow but not the logistics flow. They can move funds cross-border, but they can't issue you a Malaysia local invoice, and they don't ship goods. CIEF is a full end-to-end import service: we settle your supplier (money side), ship your goods to Malaysia via our Izyim / CIEF Lite logistics (goods side), and issue you a LHDN-compliant local invoice from CIEF Worldwide Sdn Bhd. That single invoice is what lets your accountant cleanly book the whole transaction as a local purchase.

Is partial payment a financing or BNPL service?

No. Partial payment is just a scheduling tool that matches what your supplier typically asks for (e.g., 30% deposit now, 70% balance on shipment). You fund each milestone yourself, when you choose to. CIEF does not provide credit, loans, or buy-now-pay-later.

What kinds of suppliers can I pay?

China personal bank accounts, China enterprise bank accounts, Alipay transfers, 1688 platform orders, and USD telegraphic transfers (to Hong Kong / Singapore USD accounts). Cover most B2B import scenarios for Malaysian importers.

How fast does it work?

Speed varies by payment method (1688 ~48 hours, Alipay 1–3 days, China bank personal 3–5 days, USD TT 3–5 days, China bank enterprise 7–10 days). Once we settle your supplier, your Malaysia e-invoice is issued within 3 working days (or by the 4th of the following month if you need an official e-invoice for LHDN).

What if my supplier's account gets frozen?

If a freeze happens due to our transfer, CIEF has a "Frozen Funds Assurance" — we re-pay your supplier after standard SOP investigation. Enterprise-to-enterprise, 1688, and USD TT are designed specifically as anti-freeze routes.

What does the invoice look like in my books?

The invoice is issued from "CIEF Worldwide Sdn Bhd (1134596-M)" as the seller. Your accountant books the transaction as a Malaysian local purchase. You can choose between an immediate Proforma Invoice and the official LHDN E-Invoice (available after the 4th of the following month).

How do I get started?

Register on Exchange (free), upload your SSM (for company invoices) or IC (for personal name invoices). We verify within 1 working day, then you can submit your first payment order.
